Feb. 4th, 2012 06:03 pm[the feed cuts in abruptly, showing an egg settled carefully in what looks like a pile of scarf and blanket. there's nothing really spectacular about this particular image-- it's just a pale yellow egg with a few brown spots.]
[well, the Mudkip approximately the size of a teacup perched atop it is a little weird, but it's not the first Pokémon Sora's ever had to attempt to incubate an egg. you just... keep on keeping, Behemoth.]
[when Sora bends down to get a better look, and his face lowers into view, however, he looks several thousand layers of pleased as he pokes a finger out to nudge at Behemoth and the egg gently.]
Y'know what this is? I mean, besides an egg. [Behemoth flails a stubby limb at Sora with a high-pitched chirp, before toppling comically right off the egg.]
To me, it looks like hope-- faith in this place. I mean, if Puddles managed to get lost for a few months, and then finally found his way back to everyone he really cares about, I don't see why the rest of us can't. Even if we're all from different worlds, or even if someone goes back to their world, you know?
Just something to think about, I guess.
