[Sora's taking a break from traveling on Route 30 this morning to train a brand new friend he'd captured a few days ago in the Dark Cave-- the feed turns on, the camera focused up on Sora and a silly old bear, who is currently wobbling on his tiny feet and trying to mimic his trainer's pose.]

Is it on, Dapper? Good! Hey, you guys!

[he waves-- this is becoming the customary pokégear greeting for Sora. the Teddiursa at his feet waves a stubby little arm, too.]

I thought I'd show everyone out there training some warm-ups I learned from a good friend back in Traverse Town. They're called stoutness exercises, and they always helped me loosen up before a long day of fighting! Ready?

[there's an enthusiastic "Weedle!" from somewhere off-camera. oh look, Mr. Crankypants is going to try it, too.]

All you need to do is stretch your arms waaaaaay above your head, hold it there, then bend down and touch your toes, and hold it. Just stretch as high as you can, Dapper, okay? Do that ten times! Up, down, touch the ground!

[they slowly go through the motions of ten reps-- the Teddiursa is trying his darndest, but is having some issues actually touching his toes, and somersaults right onto his back on the last attempt. Sora bends down to help the little guy back on his feet, managing not to laugh.]

Good job, everyone! And now we eat.

[She nods her head.] Yes! Her name is Aerith too, but she has a pink ribbon on her hair. I have a red ribbon, so it's easy to tell us apart.

[Her smile falters a bit again.] ...Squall, Yuffie, and Cloud aren't really the people we know, Sora. They are different and come a completely different world. Yuffie and Cloud recognized me, but...they quickly realized I wasn't their Aerith. While Squall has no idea who I am or what Hollow Bastion is... [She looked to the side a bit sadly.] It's hard...

[Sora half-wonders if the alternate worlds thing applies to him as well, and what another version of himself would be like, but then he catches that sad expression.]

-- Hey, it'll be all right! Just because he's not from Hollow Bastion doesn't mean you guys can't be friends.

[She gave a sigh before forcing a weak smile.]

That's right! Squall and I...we're friends, but...it isn't the same, Sora. I miss everyone back home. How would you feel if you didn't have Riku or Kairi with you now? You were completely alone in this world...

[he pauses.]

But Aerith, even if they're not with you here right now, they're always in your heart. Remember?

That's how I feel, right now.

[However Sora's words caught her attention. She'll be looking at him. Thinking back at the promise they all made to help Sora feel better about the worlds being isolated from each other, again. So, he heard her say that, huh?]

Mmm, I remember! You're right! No matter where we are...our hearts will bring us together again. [She closed her eyes and placed her hand over her heart.] I almost forgot my own words. [A smile forms on her lips before she opens her eyes again.] Thank you for reminding me, Sora. I was about to...lose hope.

[She shakes her head softly with an amused smile.] How silly of me to!
