[as much as Sora loves bugs, and as he would have liked to leave Goldenrod to beat up certain bugs for a certain gym badge, this kid appearing on the network this afternoon is in Serious Battle Mode- a mode he hasn't been in ever since he got here and finally had a chance to relax.]

It's just one thing after another... Hey! How is everybody holding up? No serious injuries, right? If you're somewhere around Goldenrod and you need help, lemme know. I'll come get you.

[a pause.] Is anybody else out there trying to fight these things? They need to be kept as far away from the pokecenters as possible so people can still get in.

[Sora shakes his head. he may or may not have been on the receiving end of a Yanma attack earlier, and quite frankly he found it worse than taking a wing to the face from a Wyvern. not something he wants to experience again, nor does he want anybody else experiencing it. luckily he's armed and ready for the next battle he's about to run headfirst into: a carved Keyblade! a single pokeball! ... a pair of earplugs! Sora that is not a good weapon at all.]

So why are you going alone? You get hurt out there because there was no one to help you and it's not worth the victory.

How much thought have given this plan, Sora? [Because she can't see it working. Wooden keyblade or not.]

Well... It is kind of a last resort thing...

[Headshake] We're all still standing, and we can keep fighting. Save the last resort for when we're out of options.

Even if it could give us a break?

Even if. We can work in shifts to give people a break, but we need everyone who can fight to stay that way. What if this plan doesn't work and you get hurt? We're down one fighter and a plan.

I guess... [Sora's still not used to tactical fighting, not when he's managed to make it through life so far running headfirst into battle without a second thought, and somehow coming out alive every time.]

[Then he's lucky Light has some tactical planning of her own to teach him.] I'm not saying it's a bad plan. In the end, it might be the only one we have. But right now, no one wants to see you get hurt if it doesn't work.

What should I do now then, Lightning? I can fight normally for now. [Sora's now yours to command. he might even salute.]

Rest a little. You won't do any good if you're too tired to fight [And, since she can guess that's gonna earn her a pout...] But be ready to go at any moment. We'll probably have to take shifts to hold them off.

[Nod.] We're alright for now. Provided the bugs don't make a rush at the doors, we'll manage.
