[there are a few unusual things about this here transmission: first, Sora's sending out a few text messages. they're... not exactly his first choice for communicating; he prefers being able to see someone's face when he's talking to them. that and he's painfully slow with hunting and pecking on a keyboard. he's got a good reason for going the text route today, though.]

Is everybody okay? I know all kinds of weird stuff's happened, and I want to make sure nobody's hurt.

[-- and unusual thing number two. though Sora is not much of a typist, he does at least try to make his texts grammatically correct. oh screw it, typing with one hand is annoying.]

[shortly after mashing the "send" button, Sora tosses his 'gear in front of him on the bed and sighs. tries to sigh. Bell waddles over to to where the 'gear hit the covers and turns it over and over with her tiny arm stubs, prii'ing happily to herself. feel free to make a video call, though you may be chatting with a Togepi at first.]

[if you happen to enter the pokécenter in Goldenrod, you might hear Sora arguing feebly with a nurse and basically being the worst patient ever.]

[Reaching into his bag.

Pulling out a wooden boomerang he got in a shop. Rapping on Sora's head with it.

Not caring if Nurse Tank will get pissed at him.]

That's why we didn't want you going after him in the first place. Now look at you-- you're a mess and the others are far away.

But I don't--

[... really remember. but he knows Hope's right, and he does still vaguely remember being angry. and... his face just crumples, and he lowers his head to stare at his hands. what is he going to tell Ven now?]

[It's time Hope backed down on berating him-- it looks like his words have hit home after all.]

You've got to tell them when they get here.

That you met with him and he was the one who gave you those injuries. They'd want to know.

[he just sort of mumbles it to his hands. Sora makes a big deal out of promises, and he'd gone and broken one.]

[Shaking his head.]

You shouldn't be saying sorry to me.

[well, Hope was spectacularly successful in deterring Sora from being such an uncooperative patient. he brought the injuries on himself, so there's absolutely no reason he shouldn't sit still and heal as fast as possible. maybe once he's healed he won't feel so ashamed.]

[that's why Sora's pushing himself back to his feet silently. he'll let Nurse Tank lead him back to his bed.]

[That's a good boy. Hope wont be following, but he'll be visiting anyway.]

... You don't mind, Hope? I don't have my wallet with me but I'll pay you back once Ven and the others get here.

It's fine with me. It's not like I wouldn't help a friend out.

[that gets a huge smile out of him.]

So, what do you want?

Mm... I'd really like some food, to be honest. And-- I guess if you can find books or other stuff to do? That'd be perfect.

[he'll be... pretty much led by the shoulders back to his bed by Nurse Tank, now. depending on how long Hope takes out shopping, he may come back to Sora either sitting in bed staring into forever, or Sora napping.]

[Hope may take a really, really long time because of the clerks at the department store being, um. Assertive. Selling their wares and all. Hooboy.

If Sora's sleeping, he's going to be rearranging the stuff he's gotten-- food, for humans and Pokémon, a few books he personally finds interesting (but Sora might find boring because history of Johto?! at least there are some stuff about legendary Pokémon...), a Scrabble game and clothes. Because Sora cant be running around in jammies the whole time.]
