[there are a few unusual things about this here transmission: first, Sora's sending out a few text messages. they're... not exactly his first choice for communicating; he prefers being able to see someone's face when he's talking to them. that and he's painfully slow with hunting and pecking on a keyboard. he's got a good reason for going the text route today, though.]

Is everybody okay? I know all kinds of weird stuff's happened, and I want to make sure nobody's hurt.

[-- and unusual thing number two. though Sora is not much of a typist, he does at least try to make his texts grammatically correct. oh screw it, typing with one hand is annoying.]

[shortly after mashing the "send" button, Sora tosses his 'gear in front of him on the bed and sighs. tries to sigh. Bell waddles over to to where the 'gear hit the covers and turns it over and over with her tiny arm stubs, prii'ing happily to herself. feel free to make a video call, though you may be chatting with a Togepi at first.]

[if you happen to enter the pokécenter in Goldenrod, you might hear Sora arguing feebly with a nurse and basically being the worst patient ever.]

[it's probably less frequent to see one of those patients burst through the door, an arm wrapped around his front, breathing raggedly and... still in his Totodile pajamas. best pajamas ever, but they are not poking him again. Sora's had enough.]

--eh? An escaping patient-? *NOT REALIZING WHO IT IS YET; Hayate is casually walking in front of him to stop his fleeing since he seems worn out* I know they might be a little rough sometimes, but anything they do to you is for the best--

[-- that would be a nurse the size of a barge placing one of his beefy hands on Sora's shoulder. he inhales sharply, and the squeak of pain he makes sounds very much like an "eep!" Sora is doomed. save yourself, Hayate!]

*holy shi--* --whoa! Suddenly I'm very glad I've avoided injury in Goldenrod...

[even his voice sounds boldface.]

Don't make me carry you back to your bed, son. With cracked ribs it's going to hurt.

[... and Sora's giving Hayate a look that plainly says "oh god help me!"]

*hrrrrgh this is so horrifying but Hayate will give it a shot and put on his business smile*

--um, sir! I'm actually this child's older brother! I know he's causing you a lot of trouble, but I thought it would be best if I took my poor, hurt, younger brother out for some fresh air! And you have my word that he won't do anything strenuous while in my care. ♥

[Nurse Tank looks from Sora to Hayate, possibly peering into their souls-- you two do not look related at all. :| but he moves his hand from Sora's shoulder to cross his arms, staring at Hayate with a frown.]

You can take him out for an hour, but no more than that. He should be resting.

Oh, don't worry sir! I'll rest all you want once I get back! I won't even complain anymore.

[yeah that's a blatant lie.]

*they both have blue eyes that's more than enough to pass for being related-- I mean smile smile gently placing a hand on Sora's other shoulder to start escorting him... well, not outside, he's in his pajamas still-- over to the entrance works.*

Mm, I'll make sure he gets plenty of rest afterward! Come on, little brother.

[Sora is totally okay going outside in his pajamas, though-- that's why he's just standing there and staring longingly at the doorway and the outside world. he turns and shoots Hayate a weak smile, though.]

Mm, don't mention it! It was pretty obvious you wanted out from back there, and after seeing the nurse, well... *and taking note of how he's staring at the doorway* Are you good with going out dressed like that...?
