[as with any other resident of Johto, Sora is drawn out of sleep by that giant flash of light and what sounded almost like the earth cracking open-- all things considered? this is entirely possible. so he clambers out of bed-- Bell is the only one of his Pokémon who sleeps out of the ball, so he grabs her along with his 'gear, too. not that he notices his other Pokémon are mysteriously missing-- and practically stumbles out of the inn in Violet to check out what the heck just happened.]

[except he's not in Violet. he's in Goldenrod.]

What the--

[so Sora's now standing in the middle of the street, barefoot and in his pajamas-- they're blue with little Totodiles. don't judge-- and holding one little Togepi in his arms. looks like it's just the two of them for now.]

[after a few minutes of stunned silence, Sora finally thinks to turn on the video feed.]

Hey! Is everybody okay?

[ she appreciates it, managing to get to her feet and giving her head a single shake to clear it. It almost feels like she'd be able to summon Kanzeon now, but she's deciding against trying and straightening up as best as she can. ]

I can tell... since someone's in their pajamas.

They're awesome pajamas though, right? I got 'em in Violet.

[Sora's sticking close by with a hand on Rise's back as they start walking-- wouldn't want anybody faceplanting.]

That's all right, though! I like 'em, and they're really comfy.

They look like it! You're not cold, though?

[snorts.]

We can't be risking any toes!

[ ... says the one who is being slow right now. ]

[that is perfectly all right; Sora will BRAVE THE COLD TOES so Rise doesn't wind up face-first on the pavement. there will be plenty of blankets to keep his toes warm at the inn.]

[ BEST LITTLE BROTHER EVER. She'll make it and then they can curl up and have cocoa. ]

[he'll pretty much fall right back asleep after the cocoa; Sora's a lazy bum like that. and he just barely has enough snack money in his pajama pocket to cover sleeping for the night-- thank goodness for his bottomless pit of a stomach.]

[ lucky for him, Rise's got money. She's got him covered. ]

... I wonder how we got dropped here, anyway.

Beats me... Did you see a huge flash of light?

Yeah, actually. And then I fell.

That's weird... I was asleep back at the inn in Violet, but when I went outside I was here instead.

And there's no one else from your group?

Nope. Just you.

[ oh Sora, she's not from your group, but she smiles anyway. ] Well, someone had to look out for you.

[but she's close to him all the same.]

You're starting to sound like Riku. I don't get in that much trouble!

Ahaha! It just likes you a lot, that's all.
