010; [video/action for route 32 outside Union]

[video, glorious video. Sora's finally gotten his 'gear fixed after a week of texting and learning how to make smiley faces with symbols, and although he has to admit the smiley faces are pretty cool, he's much happier to be able to talk to the network face-to-face. sort of face-to-face. he's feeling a lot better, too.]

[so there's a very groggy kid opening up a feed today. it looks like he's just woken up from a fantastic nap, because he has some equally fantastic bedhead: the smaller spikes that usually go every which way are actually almost entirely flattened against his face on one side, and the bigger ones have sort of lost their vaguely coherent shape. it's quite a sight, really, and Sora doesn't seem to realize he has it.]

... Hey. Uh. I got a list of names from everybody who signed up to help with food for the festival from Nurse Joy. If you're still interested, the restaurants in your town would be happy to have you help! And if you were thinking about selling some kind of food from back home at a booth, they've all agreed to let you use their kitchens to make it. You just need to let them know in advance.

-- Oh yeah! Are any of you interested in running booths? If so, what kind?

[Sora pauses here, instinctively rubbing his eyes. as fantastic of a nap that was, he really hasn't been getting enough sleep out here on route 32.]

Ven? Where are you guys? We're just outside Union Cave. And--

[he turns away from the 'gear to address someone off screen. behold, spiky bedhead in all of its majesty!]

Riku! I've got something for you!

[video] ahhh sorry about late reply

[See that growing smile right now? I think someone got the right answer!]

That is correct! There are multiple ways to solve this puzzle such as turning two switches on, but turning one off sooner than the other. However, the answer is same in the end.

[And 30 picarats for the young lad here! He's scribbling down the amount next to Sora's name now.]

Very well done, my boy. You have earned a nice amount of picarats as well on your first try.

[video] no worries!

All right! Picarats! -- Wait, what's a picarat?
puzzling: (Would you like some help ma'am?)

Haha, a picarat is something to tell the difficulty of a puzzle. The easiest puzzles are 10 picarats, something around a medium level would be perhaps 30 picarats, and the hardest one would be 99. The numbers range from 10 to 99. I just use these for my own use to tell the difficulty.

I would then award these picarats to anyone who solves the puzzle. The number of picarats decreases when each answer given is wrong. I keep down a journal as to who many each person has. [Brings up his notebook in front of the camera before placing it back on his lap]

I am thinking about exchanging these picarats for some items in the future such as during the festival, but I am not sure as to what just yet...

[and Sora's got 30 already-- hot dog!]

That's a really good idea, sir! I was gonna stop by the mart once I get back to Violet, 'cause they agreed to give out a few donations. If you want, you can look through the stuff I pick up! Or I bet someone would help you bake some treats to give out as prizes, too.

[He chuckles.]

Just "Professor" is good by me, my boy. "Sir" is a little too formal with me.

And yes, that would be wonderful. I am in Violet City at the moment, so I will be more than willing to pick up the donations for you, or select a few of my own.
