[video, glorious video. Sora's finally gotten his 'gear fixed after a week of texting and learning how to make smiley faces with symbols, and although he has to admit the smiley faces are pretty cool, he's much happier to be able to talk to the network face-to-face. sort of face-to-face. he's feeling a lot better, too.]

[so there's a very groggy kid opening up a feed today. it looks like he's just woken up from a fantastic nap, because he has some equally fantastic bedhead: the smaller spikes that usually go every which way are actually almost entirely flattened against his face on one side, and the bigger ones have sort of lost their vaguely coherent shape. it's quite a sight, really, and Sora doesn't seem to realize he has it.]

... Hey. Uh. I got a list of names from everybody who signed up to help with food for the festival from Nurse Joy. If you're still interested, the restaurants in your town would be happy to have you help! And if you were thinking about selling some kind of food from back home at a booth, they've all agreed to let you use their kitchens to make it. You just need to let them know in advance.

-- Oh yeah! Are any of you interested in running booths? If so, what kind?

[Sora pauses here, instinctively rubbing his eyes. as fantastic of a nap that was, he really hasn't been getting enough sleep out here on route 32.]

Ven? Where are you guys? We're just outside Union Cave. And--

[he turns away from the 'gear to address someone off screen. behold, spiky bedhead in all of its majesty!]

They do! I've seen it in action.

[She laughs at that, being reminded of home.]

Really? Sometimes they wear the wrong kind of shoes. Like those heels! They're this big! [She uses her fingers to gap the distance of maybe... 6 inches.]

Maybe they trained themselves to walk that way!

Why, though? That seems kind of like a weird talent.

Nope. I ran and fought monsters in them too! It actually hurts them more if you kick them!

[he pauses to direct his gaze-- and his 'gear-- to his own giant shoes (http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk172/lonelylionheart/368px-KH_Sora.jpg). he has no trouble running and fighting in them, but kicking with them is definitely a new one.]

Uwah! Sora, do you have big feet? Or do they look a lot bigger on the screen? [This is genuine surprise in her tone! Why would she mock him.]

They're not that big, are they?

[... yes, Sora. yes they are. just comes with the territory of being half Disney.]

Put your hand next to your shoe!

[so he does-- and although Sora has big hands, too, they've got nothing on his shoes.]

I guess I never really thought about it, but you're right!

Hm... Maybe it's just your shoes that are big, not your feet. But they really do make your feet look big though.

[lifts his foot a little.]

Think of all the monster butt I could kick with these!

The bigger the shoe, the more power it should have! Wow! That would be a whole bunch of monsters!

I'm gonna have to test this out. Next monster I see, I'm gonna just run up and kick it!

[... hopefully he doesn't mean Pokémon when he says monster.]

Yeah! You'll knock it down in one hit!

[he's already tried to punch a block MissingNo. it just sort of... bled pixels on his arm.]
