[look out, Violet City Pokécenter, because not only has Sora's shift filing papers and such ended, but it's Friday-- pay day! he has amassed more pokédollars in three days than he's ever had in his entire life, and he is positively psyched about his new-found riches. pokémon and random town citizens alike scatter when he bursts through the door, his fist that's clutching the envelope pumped in the air triumphantly-- sorry if you happened to be on your way in; he might have just mowed you down in all of his victory.]

Ohhhh yeah! Who wants dinner?

[he's met with a loud chorus from his pokémon-- particularly the tiny little Togepi holding the pokégear. when Sora notices the feed's running, he bends down to look at it, grinning. hello, network!]

Hey, can I ask you guys something?

[ooc; Sora has lame victory poses. :V]

[hey, who knows? maybe Rise has a strong enough heart to wield a Keyblade.]

[Sora's story is pretty similar, except replace "people thrown in the TV" with "people sucked into a huge black void."]

Right! Thanks, Rise! Okay, you're gonna want to look for a door-- except it won't have any handles, and there won't be an obvious way to open it.

... Does that door have to do with the Keyblades?

Yeah. The Keyblade locks away the hearts of worlds, so that the Heartless or darkness can't reach it.

That's a pretty powerful key... sword.

... I guess, but it's not nearly as cool as Ven's. He can turn his into a glider thing and ride on it!

I-I heard about that. [ Rise is still not so sure about riding on a giant key. ]

[Sora can't really picture it either; he's just used to the Keyblade changing into more complicated looking keys. wouldn't Ven just fall off?]

He wields it a lot differently than I'm used to, too. It's actually pretty cool.

[ seriously! She can't even begin to understand it. ]

Well, there's all sorts of ways to fight with something.

[ like a folding chair or butcher knives or a gun or a golf club OR YOUR FEET ]

[clearly the suit of armor is there to absorb the shock impact when Ven inevitably falls off his Keyblade, and not to protect him from the darkness.]

Yeah, that's what's so cool about it! I'm gonna see if he'll teach me to hold a Keyblade backwards.

[ bet it comes with airbags too. ]

... Backwards? That sounds a little awkward.

[... pffff, Ven suddenly puffing up like the Ghostbusters marshmallow.]

It does sound awkward, but he makes it work. It's amazing!

[ in Souji's case, it was a golf club, but support doesn't generally need weapons. ]
