[look out, Violet City Pokécenter, because not only has Sora's shift filing papers and such ended, but it's Friday-- pay day! he has amassed more pokédollars in three days than he's ever had in his entire life, and he is positively psyched about his new-found riches. pokémon and random town citizens alike scatter when he bursts through the door, his fist that's clutching the envelope pumped in the air triumphantly-- sorry if you happened to be on your way in; he might have just mowed you down in all of his victory.]

Ohhhh yeah! Who wants dinner?

[he's met with a loud chorus from his pokémon-- particularly the tiny little Togepi holding the pokégear. when Sora notices the feed's running, he bends down to look at it, grinning. hello, network!]

It'd be a good idea to at least know where it is, in case we need to protect it. There's still a lot of stuff about Johto that I don't understand.

[Ven's the person Sora trusts the most in Johto along with Riku, but... how could he tell Riku? he wouldn't even know where to begin. it didn't seem fair to burden him with something that hasn't even happened for him yet.]

When the Heartless destroyed the islands, they tried to steal Kairi's heart, too. But instead of being lost to the darkness, her heart went to mine instead. And... well, she needed her heart, so I gave it back.

So you...oh geez.

... Yeah.

[he doesn't regret what he did, not at all; he just... misses Kairi like crazy.]

I've only lost part of my heart, but I guess...this place really can cause some pretty big changes, huh?

[that is, Sora must have his heart while he's here]

Yeah. That's why I'm so curious about Johto, and its heart. What is it about it that lets it, well... break all the rules, I guess?

I wonder... I've never heard of anything like it, and Aqua's a Master but she seemed pretty surprised by this place bringing us all here too.

I'm kind of hoping... that maybe whatever it is about Johto will help us figure out how to restore everybody who's lost their hearts.
