[look out, Violet City Pokécenter, because not only has Sora's shift filing papers and such ended, but it's Friday-- pay day! he has amassed more pokédollars in three days than he's ever had in his entire life, and he is positively psyched about his new-found riches. pokémon and random town citizens alike scatter when he bursts through the door, his fist that's clutching the envelope pumped in the air triumphantly-- sorry if you happened to be on your way in; he might have just mowed you down in all of his victory.]

Ohhhh yeah! Who wants dinner?

[he's met with a loud chorus from his pokémon-- particularly the tiny little Togepi holding the pokégear. when Sora notices the feed's running, he bends down to look at it, grinning. hello, network!]

Hey, can I ask you guys something?

What question?

Hey, Hope! I was just wondering if anybody had any idea where the heart of the world might be.

... Heart? What do you mean, "heart"?

Worlds have hearts, just like people do. I guess you could say it's kinda like the core of the world.

I figured it might be a good idea if one of us found it in case we need to protect it from anybody.

[... Like a fal'Cie or something.]

What kind of core is it?

[just very very Disney.]

I guess it varies from world to world. Kinda like hearts vary from person to person-- it's what makes us who we are.

[One of these days he needs to learn how to think like a Disney kid.]

So for Johto to be like this... It's got to have a good heart, huh?

[stick around Ven and fellow derps and thinking like a Disney kid is almost guaranteed.]

I think so. There's probably something about Johto's heart that allows it to take people in from different worlds, too.

[He'd practically be part of the KH family.]

A world's heart has powers too?

[d'aw, they've all adopted him.]

I think so! Everybody's heart is strong in some way, even if it's not the kind of power you'd normally think of.

[He's like a cousin of Ven's now.]

What kind is it then?

[that's kind of adorable. and, ah-- Hope's got Sora thinking, there.]

For the worlds? Light, probably. And a bond with the hearts of the people who live on it.

What if a world doesn't have people?

[Like Gran Pulse. Cocoon's the only thing populated now, and everything's going to hell too.]

Nobody at all?

[Sora immediately thinks of Hollow Bastion-- there were hearts there, sure, but they were all enslaved by the Heartless-- or at least squished together to form a Keyblade. he always got a feeling of foreboding there, like the world was falling apart.]

I guess its heart would be... I don't think weak is the right word, but it might be missing something.

I guess I can imagine that.

It's okay though, right Hope? Your friends are your power. As long as you keep them close to your heart, there's no such thing as being weak.

[There's a bit of worry that crosses his face, but then he rearranges it quickly into a normal face.]

I now. That's why I'm always around for them. And you guys.

[it's hard to say if Sora caught that worry, but he's smiling all the same.]
