[well, this all started out innocently enough. after Dapper evolved into a Kakuna following a spectacular Caterpie smashing last week, both Sora and bug have been very eager to see how he turns out as a Beedrill-- so the past five days have been pretty constant training, stoutness exercises included! and now, after having finally gained a few quick levels, tada!! Sora is the proud new trainer of a very large and feisty Beedrill! and Dapper couldn't be happier; now he's finally able to carry out his one big, life-long wish.]

Dapper! Get back here!

[unfortunately, that life-long wish is doorbell ditching. it's the Teddiursa who's turned on the pokégear this time-- the feed displays the larger half of Cherrygrove, and a Beedrill gleefully fluttering to the closest residence, smashing the doorbell repeatedly with his stinger, then shooting up in the air to hover just above the doorway. poor Sora is not far behind, pokéball in an outstretched hand and his expression quite kicked puppy when he's suddenly left to deal with the residents answering the door.]

Hey, kid! Didn't anybody ever tell you you're supposed to hide after ringing the doorbell?

[Sora just barely manages an apology before he has to chase after Dapper again-- the Beedrill is even going into the Pokémart and center, ringing the bells at the front desks, then zooming off for his next victim. those listening to the feed can hear the Teddiursa laughing, despite himself.]

[She'll notice a Beedrill flying around the city which caught her attention.]

Odd. What is that pokemon doing?

[Yeah. She's just going to stare at the pokemon for a bit.]

Hi Aerith! Bye Aerith!

[yells Sora as he runs past, pokéball still in his raised hand. ah, there's your answer.]

[Yeah! That would be the best way to answer her question. Well, it's time to run off and catch up to Sora which shouldn't take long.]

Having pokemon trouble, huh? Do you need help getting it back?

Yeah-- yeah, if you don't mind.

[whew! Sora bends down to try to catch his breath.]

[Aerith nods her head and takes out one of her pokeballs.]

Squall, go after that Beedrill!

[She'll throw it and a lovely Ladyba will appear! ~~Female~~ Squall will be following after Beedrill.]

Use supersonic on it!

[Ladyba will do as her trainer asks and use supersonic. Have a really loud and dizzying sound being made.]

[incoming beedrill! Dapper zooms loopily toward them-- enough for Sora to have to duck out of the way-- before he lands on the ground and flops over, waving his stingers in the air wildly. Sora straightens, sighs, and holds out his pokéball to recall Dapper.]

[Oh geez! That Beedrill is huge! Aerith did not expect the pokemon to be so big. She'll look a bit worried over it.]

It was my pleasure, but...will it be okay?

[Squall will fly back down before her attention turns to Sora.]

Laaaa~

[She'll be flying around Sora full of curiousity.]

Yeah, he's fine. He's been through worse!

[blinks up at Squall, watching her curiously.]

Great!

[She looks really happy about the news. Squall, the Ladyba, will lean closer to Sora's face. Yup! She's invading your personal space, mister. This will only get a giggle out of Aerith because Squall learned that habit from her.]

Sorry about that, Sora. Squall is still getting used to being surrounded by people. I just caught her a few days ago.

Oh, it's okay!

[not to worry, Sora's absolutely delighted by bugs-- he holds his hands up to Squall, if she wants to land in his arms.]

[What a relief! A lot of people have gotten freaked out over Squall invading their personal space.]

You're not scared of her, are you?

[Squall looks delighted at the offer arm and decides to land there.]

Lady ba~

[Thank you~ She will be standing on their arm while crawling a little closer to nuzzle said trainer. Squall approves of this trainer! So much nicer than the other one.]

Are you kidding? She's awesome!

[say cheese to the Pokédex, Squall! once Sora's registered the information, he pats Squall on the head affectionately.]

[She'll laugh softly.]

I'm glad to hear that. A lot of people don't like her to get too close. You're one of the few who hasn't tries to shoo her away.

[Squall will smile happily before the camera or try to. The pet makes her even happier while her wings flutter a bit.]

Aw, but she's so nice! How could anybody not like bugs?

Some people are scared of them while others feel disgust around them, I'm afraid.

[She turns to her pokemon with a bright smile.]

Ladyba reminds me of a ladybug, doesn't she?
