[it's been a rather eventful weekend, to say the least-- although in Sora's case, it was more eventless, because with the exception of one small time frame, he spent the entire weekend completely alone. dark houses, complete silence, no people, no pokémon, no functioning pokégear... nobody.]

[needless to say, now that Sora's caught up on his sleep, he's a little more than eager to see his friends, whether they're with him in Violet City, or spread out across the network. he turns the feed on, smiling and waving at the screen enthusiastically.]

Hey, guys! I was wondering, does anybody know if they have any festivals in Johto? If not, we should make one up! Or at least have a Johto-wide party or something, especially after this weekend.

[he runs his hand through his hair.]

Hey, Roxas? If you see this, I wanna talk to you.

... Hm. What about a Pokémon one? I mean, they've been fighting for us for as long as we've been here, right? So we should honor them with a fanfare!

A pokémon party? Hmmm... I like that idea! I bet we might be able to borrow some costumes from the café in Violet. And they could even cater!

[... no, Kay, he's not thinking about food 24/7, honest! just 24/5, at the most.]

But there goes your cooking contest idea if they cater.

We could have both! I doubt anybody would mind-- I wouldn't mind.

[Sora leans back and streeetches, patting his belly.]

C'mon, I'm not gonna grow into the giant-me you knew first if I don't have a healthy appetite.

You weren't that tall! Maybe a little taller than me, but...

That's still a good few inches! Right? I can't pull that off on an empty stomach.

I don't know, I kind of like you at this height. Maybe I'll steal the food myself.

No, don't jynx me, Kay! Riku'll never let me hear the end of it!

Well, I've gotta be able to beat Riku at something.

[sadly, Sora, that something will not be height. keep fighting the good fight, though!]

You could beat him at spiky hair.

[to that, Sora runs his hands through his hair, mussing it up a little. hmm, not bad, not bad- it's now more of a mess than usual, if that's possible.]

[Sora doesn't know why either, but he is now dying of laughter, burying his face into his arms. his next sentence is sort of gasped in between laughs:]

I... I couldn't have done it without my friends-- my friends who believed my hair could grow the distance!

[one of the nurses at the Pokécenter is trying to shush him, but Sora's lonnnng gone by now.]
