[it's been a rather eventful weekend, to say the least-- although in Sora's case, it was more eventless, because with the exception of one small time frame, he spent the entire weekend completely alone. dark houses, complete silence, no people, no pokémon, no functioning pokégear... nobody.]

[needless to say, now that Sora's caught up on his sleep, he's a little more than eager to see his friends, whether they're with him in Violet City, or spread out across the network. he turns the feed on, smiling and waving at the screen enthusiastically.]

Hey, guys! I was wondering, does anybody know if they have any festivals in Johto? If not, we should make one up! Or at least have a Johto-wide party or something, especially after this weekend.

[he runs his hand through his hair.]

So what else are we gonna do on this festival day, whenever it's decided it'll be? Food is a great idea, but maybe we should come up with a game or something, too! Or some events!

Hmm... What kinda things do you do at festivals where you're from? Maybe we can do a bunch of different things from different worlds.

Well, I haven't been to a whole lot of festivals where I'm from, but the school I went to had its own festival once... it had cosplaying, food, and all kinds of games! And a lot of the festivals that happen in Japan have stalls set up for the games and food, and people usually dress up differently for those, too.

I wonder if we could get people to set up something like that in every city?

That kinda sounds like the festivals we had on Destiny Islands. We always have a festival right at the end of the rainy season to ensure that the next rainy season's a safe one. I'm not sure what cosplaying is, though.

I bet we could if everybody did something! You think the locals would be willing to help out?

Oh, cosplaying is basically dressing up as stuff! I bet they have Pokemon cosplays here somewhere, too.

I don't see why not! Festivals are fun, after all, and there's never a bad excuse for something like that! And the locals here seem really willing to help others out when they need it, so I'm sure they'd be willing to lend a hand!

...Isn't fall starting soon, too? We could just say it's a beginning-of-fall festival if they need a reason.

Ohh, okay! So it's kind of like a Halloween costume?

So maybe a Fall/early Halloween festival? It doesn't have to be anything spooky, I think we've already had enough nightmares for one lifetime.

Yeah, that's a good way to put it. And I bet a lot of people would dress up as Pokemon here, hehe.

Sure, that'd work! I wonder if they celebrate that stuff here, though? I think if not, we could always teach whoever doesn't know about it, or introduce the holiday to Johto!

Halloween in Johto... I'm going to dress Puddles up as a Ponyta.

Puddles must be your Pokemon, right? What species?

Looks like you caught him at a bad time. I'd be pretty unhappy if I got woken up from a nap like that, too, hehe.

Nah, Puddles is just really lazy. This is his pre-bedtime nap.

...Pre-bedtime nap? Even I'm not that bad.

Is he that lazy in battle, too?

... Yeah. Yeah, he is. He doesn't even like to battle.

I guess some of them are like that... though if he's really that lazy, it's probably because he'd rather be sleeping than just plain disliking fighting.

...How can anything sleep that much, though? He must get to a point where he can't sleep anymore, right?

You'd think he'd get tired of doing nothing but sleeping and grazing, but he doesn't! He's even worse than I am.
