[it's been a rather eventful weekend, to say the least-- although in Sora's case, it was more eventless, because with the exception of one small time frame, he spent the entire weekend completely alone. dark houses, complete silence, no people, no pokémon, no functioning pokégear... nobody.]

[needless to say, now that Sora's caught up on his sleep, he's a little more than eager to see his friends, whether they're with him in Violet City, or spread out across the network. he turns the feed on, smiling and waving at the screen enthusiastically.]

Hey, guys! I was wondering, does anybody know if they have any festivals in Johto? If not, we should make one up! Or at least have a Johto-wide party or something, especially after this weekend.

[he runs his hand through his hair.]

Hey, Roxas? If you see this, I wanna talk to you.

The radio on the gears blocks out the annoying background music. Maybe we could find something worth listening too!

[Sora shuffles around his backpack and pulls out his map, which is quite literally covered in his own handwriting. he hasn't exactly bought a notebook for Jiminy's journal just yet, so his map has unfortunately been on the receiving end of his note-taking. Sora procures a pen and writes that thought down somewhere between Violet and Azalea.]

Magician... Lyrics.. to.. music.. What else?

[Kaito leans back and lifts a hand to scratch his cheek thoughtfully for a moment]

Milkshakes. Can't have a good party without milkshakes.

[another pause as he scribbles that down. hopefully Sora doesn't get lost somewhere, or he's screwed.]

Think people will want to battle? We could set up an area.

Maybe! We could hold some kind of tournament with prizes, too.

What kind of prizes? I don't really have much money, but I might be able to get a few things.

What about a handmade trophy?

I could try... Y'know, Ven's pretty good at carving stuff, maybe he'd carve a trophy! Or maybe some Breeders could donate a few pokémon eggs, or something.

How do you celebrate where you're from?

Sounds like a plan to me!

We hold parties, like the one we're planning now.

[that answer makes him laugh a little sheepishly.]

I guess that makes sense. Is there anything in particular you do during your parties back home? We could try to do it here!

[there's a pause as he thinks back to the parties Aoko hosted...]

There wasn't anything really specific. Just food, entertainment, and people.

No dancing? Water balloon fights?

Not much dancing. But in the summer, there were definitely water balloon fights!

I'll definitely have to take you on in a water balloon fight, if it doesn't get too cold! I've got pretty good aim.

Oh yeah? Think you have better aim than a water balloon master?
