003; [action/video]

[behold, Johto network: a Weedle! half of a Weedle's face, anyway; it's nested comfortably against the pokégear and is clearly not interested in its goofy-looking new Trainer trying to get it back in its pokéball. Sora's hand is visible every so often as he tries to pry the Weedle off of his pokégear, but that bug ain't budgin'- it even takes a few shots at Sora's hand with its stinger every so often, yelling out a "Weedle!" in warning. every attempt to plain recall the Weedle results in what Sora would consider some pretty impressive dodging for a giant stinging worm, if said giant stinging worm wasn't trying to dodge him. the pokégear is Weedle's territory now, buddy, best find yourself a new one.]

Oh, come on!

[completely cowed by a bug, fantastic! at least Riku isn't around to see this.. if one happens to be around Route 30/31, they'll probably see Sora scooting toward his pokégear on all fours, pokéball held out for a surprise attack. he got the bug in the ball once, he's going to do it again, gosh darnit.]

Aw, we just haven't known each other for very long! You should have seen Donald and me when we first met.

First impressions are everything.

They are at first, anyway. It's always possible to be friends with someone, even if you didn't like 'em when you first met.

You should make sure your Pokémon understand who's in charge right from the beginning.

... How, exactly?

[Sora's used to allies, not underlings.]

[identity profile] onsenqueen.livejournal.com 2010-09-06 08:31 pm (UTC)(link)
How?

[Anna's never had trouble with intimidating new people, it comes so naturally.]

You tell them that disrespect is met with discipline.

I guess I could do that. I don't really want to hurt them or anything, though.

[he could probably punish the Weedle by making it stay in its pokéball.]

It seems most people don't.

Then take away the things he enjoys until he learns to listen.

... I don't really like that idea, but if it works.. If he doesn't listen, Dapper'll go back in the pokéball.
