[It's been a long day of traveling and training- well, okay, traveling and watching Puddles graze instead of battling- but today was not an entire waste! Now that things have settled down a little, Sora can focus on a new task he's assigned himself: he's managed to scrounge up a pen and a few small scraps of paper, though he'll write all over his map if he needs to. When the video flips on, that's exactly what he's doing, hunched over with his tongue poking out in concentration as he scribbles.]

[After a moment, he looks up, like he'd forgotten he'd turned on his pokégear. That's not the case, though:]

Hey! Can you guys help me with something?

[long long loooooooong pause. Roxas feels he should be honest with Sora, given who he is to Roxas, as well as the relationship he had with the previous Sora, but at the same time, that means admitting to a bunch of stuff that he doesn't really want to.]

Well, uh, I lived in a place called Twilight Town for a while. It was really quiet and nice, but I-- [trails off. Not really sure how to continue]

[Sora scribbles down that first tidbit he has so far.]

Twilight Town.. Nice and quiet.. Huh? But what?

[switches feed to private. He doesn't really want anyone listening in]
I guess you could say it wasn't really my home. I just lived there for a bit.

I'm your nobody. I'm not sure exactly how it happened, but I'm like your other half.

[Sora had his pen to map, ready to start writing, but the only mark he winds up making is a sharp line somewhere along Route 29. the pause before he finally speaks is agonizingly long, and silent.]

... I don't understand. My other half? How are you nobody?

[Sort of mumbled]

I don't really know. The memories are kinda fuzzy, but something must have happened to you which made me appear.

[pause, then really mumbled]

I don't have a heart.

[another long silence. Sora's racking his brain trying to think of what could have happened to bring about Roxas- for him, he released Kairi's heart only a week ago, and it doesn't even cross his mind to consider it, much less make a connection between it and the person he's talking to right now. not having any idea what a nobody is doesn't help.]

You don't-- But..

I don't get it either. But somehow, I'm connected to you. That's how I know all about you. And why I don't really have a home

[He kinda expected this, so he doesn't want to get mad at Sora for being ignorant but it's a good escape, so he's trying not to snap.]

... I'm sorry, Roxas.

It's not...your fault, Sora. You were asleep when everything happened.

[he wants to ask what Roxas means by that, but..]

I.. Can I help you somehow? I'll do anything.

Just promise me, that if you ever learn the whole story, you'll let me keep existing. I--- [He kinda trails off, he can't really think of what to say]

And meet up with me when you get to Violet. I want to meet you, again.

Of course I promise. It doesn't matter who you are, you have the right to exist.

Where do you wanna met? Pokémon Center?

[Roxas nods]

Sure. I'm staying there anyway.

Okay.. I'll get there as soon as I can.
