[as much as Sora loves bugs, and as he would have liked to leave Goldenrod to beat up certain bugs for a certain gym badge, this kid appearing on the network this afternoon is in Serious Battle Mode- a mode he hasn't been in ever since he got here and finally had a chance to relax.]

It's just one thing after another... Hey! How is everybody holding up? No serious injuries, right? If you're somewhere around Goldenrod and you need help, lemme know. I'll come get you.

[a pause.] Is anybody else out there trying to fight these things? They need to be kept as far away from the pokecenters as possible so people can still get in.

[Sora shakes his head. he may or may not have been on the receiving end of a Yanma attack earlier, and quite frankly he found it worse than taking a wing to the face from a Wyvern. not something he wants to experience again, nor does he want anybody else experiencing it. luckily he's armed and ready for the next battle he's about to run headfirst into: a carved Keyblade! a single pokeball! ... a pair of earplugs! Sora that is not a good weapon at all.]

I'm gonna try one more idea. Stay safe you guys!

[ Kairi took a Pineco to the shoulder, so she's got that bandaged, but she's otherwise ready and raring to go. No way Sora and Riku are bug-bashing without her. ]

Sora... you're not going alone, right?

A few of us are. We're trying to keep the Pokemon Center as safe as possible. For now, we aren't having too much trouble. It's a good thing we have many strong trainers here to help.

[And that is all of the information she can give for the day. It won't be long until she notices the carved Keyblade and pokeball. Sora, what are you up to? :|]

_{[Have a beleaguered Heather coming up one of the staircases down into the underground path, back up onto the street.]}

_{[He's in one piece, at least...]}

[Wooden blade. One pokéball. One more idea---Sora what the heck are you doing?!]

What's your plan?

[Roxas appears on the screen. He looks a little worn, but actually kind of happy. It's been a while since he could just let loose and vent all his emotion into fighting.]

I've been fighting around Ecruteak, but they just keep coming.

[Not that he minds. This'll help when he goes to challenge the gym]

[Heads-up! There be a Charizard swooping in from above!

Oh, and Riku's approaching from behind.]

Just what do you think you're doing?

[Sora turns to give Kairi a once-over, and puffs out a light, resigned sigh. as much as he'd like for her to stay inside where it's safe... it's probably not happening. somehow, Sora can't exactly blame her.]

[so he detours back to the center right quick- once he's back, he's plopping a second pair of earplugs in Kairi's hands.]

'Course not.

Heather! [Sora takes off toward her, narrowly avoiding a dive-bombing Yanma-- he turns sharply to the right, whapping the thing harshly with his carved Keyblade and sending it nosediving. MAY DAY, MAY DAY. it's just like fighting Heartless back home, they just hurt more.]

Hanging in there... How are you holding up?

That's good to hear... I'll keep trying to stop them from getting any closer than they already are.

[HE'S OFF TO DO AMAZING THINGS DON'T JUDGE, AERITH-- and if all else fails, the earplugs will protect him. honest.]

[he's about to do something amazing. actually, he's mostly taking this as a last resort.]

My plan is a Jigglypuff. But, I can't let her out of the ball yet or she'll just start singing.

...What kind of idea?

[ she stayed behind once, when he told her she'd only be getting in the way. But that was then, and this time, Kairi can help-- so she accepts the earplugs with a confused blink. Sora's got a plan, though, so she's more than willing to trust him. ]

[She'll nod her head in understanding.]

_{[She's giving him a quick look-over anyway-- but she seems satisfied that he's still walkin' and talkin'.]

[She has no fancy self-made weapon-- just a chunk of metal piping she must have picked up somewhere. It's dented to all hell and covered in bug goop though-- she's obviously been using it.]}

[he smiles a little at that, before a thought suddenly occurs to him: if this doesn't work, Kairi's going to need something to defend herself with...]

Here. [Sora turns the wooden Keyblade around in his hand, holding the hilt out to her. there's probably a stick or a pipe around somewhere that he can use.]

Do you mind sticking around a bit? In case I run into someone who's injured.
